Overview

Controlling bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia and inhibitors presents a formidable challenge. Although the prevention of hemophilia-associated arthropathy has improved significantly in patients with hemophilia, this is not necessarily the case in patients with high-titer inhibitors. The symposium will provide an overview of the challenges related to the management of Hemostasis in patients with hemophilia, including those with inhibitors. The use of prophylactic therapy and its potential role in preventing bleeding complications, including hemophilia-associated arthropathy, will also be discussed.

Target Audience

Achieving Hemostasis: What Are the Optimal Monitoring and Treatment Options? is intended for hematologists and other healthcare professionals who manage individuals with congenital or acquired bleeding disorders.
